Hi there. I wonder regarding juvenile justice prevention and treatment if there is any platform for evidence-based programs. If yes, grateful if you could give me more details. Thank you so much!

Three online, regularly maintained registries of evidence-based programs serve juvenile offenders and those at risk of delinquent offending:
1) the Office of Justice Programs’ (OJP’s) Crime Solutions (http://www.crimesolutions.gov/programs.aspx);
2) the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP’s) Model Programs Guide (http://www.ojjdp.gov/mpg);
and 3) BlueprintsforHealthyYouthDevelopment(formerlyBlueprintsforViolencePrevention), a privately funded registry housed at the University of Colorado Boulder (http://www.blueprintsprograms. org).

All three registries rate programs using scientific standards that require the research design implemented to establish causal inference sound enough to rule out alternative explanations for findings (i.e., sources of systematic bias). Interventions are then ranked as being “promising” or “effective” (OJP and OJJDP) or “promising” or “model” (Blueprints) based on the strength and extent of evaluation findings.

Hi there, as I attempt to create a hypothesis concerning the link between child abuse and family functioning, I’m curious if using “association” would be more suitable if I assume a non-linear relationship?

Building on the previous post, is it possible to use time as the horizontal axis in line graphs and family resilience as the vertical axis to observe changes in family resilience over time?

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
