Here are some key strategies for social workers to support young people in discovering their strengths:
1. Strength-based assessments: Conduct strength-based assessments or interviews to identify and explore the unique strengths, talents, and abilities of young people. Focus on their positive attributes, skills, and resources rather than solely emphasizing their challenges or deficits.
2. Encourage self-exploration: Facilitate self-exploration activities and exercises that promote self-awareness and reflection. Encourage young people to identify their interests, passions, values, and goals.
3. Provide opportunities for success: Offer young people opportunities to engage in activities where they can experience success and build confidence. This could involve participating in sports, arts, community service, or other areas of interest. By engaging in activities that align with their strengths, young people can develop a sense of accomplishment, improve their self-esteem, and gain a clearer understanding of their capabilities.
4. Foster supportive relationships: Establish positive and trusting relationships with young people. Create a safe and non-judgmental space where they feel comfortable discussing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through active listening, empathy, and validation, help them uncover their strengths by highlighting their achievements, positive qualities, and resilience.
5. Peer support and mentoring: Facilitate peer support groups or mentoring programs where young people can connect with others who have similar experiences or interests. Peer interactions provide opportunities for young people to learn from each other, share their strengths, and receive support and inspiration.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
