Today is the Human Rights Day! The International Human Rights Day is observed on 10th December every year. The day commemorates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. Additionally, numerous governmental and nongovernmental organisations actively committed to human rights organise events to mark the occasion, as do many civil and social-cause organisations.
