When evaluating a program focused on the relationship between child abuse experience and academic performance, consider the following five points:

Define program objectives: Clearly define the objectives of the program evaluation, specifying the desired outcomes related to child abuse experience and academic performance. Determine the specific aspects of child abuse (e.g., physical, emotional, or sexual abuse) and academic performance (e.g., grades, standardized test scores, educational attainment) that you aim to measure.

Select appropriate measurement tools: Choose reliable and validated measurement tools to assess child abuse experience and academic performance. Consider utilizing established scales and questionnaires, such as the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) to assess child abuse experience and educational metrics such as report cards, school records, or standardized test scores to measure academic performance.

Collect quantitative data.: Administer the selected measurement tools to students to assess their experiences of child abuse and academic performance. Collect data on child abuse using self-report measures like the CTQ, and obtain academic performance data from school records or official sources. Analyze the data using statistical methods to determine if there are any correlations or associations between child abuse experience and academic performance.

Collect qualitative data.: Incorporate qualitative methods to gain a deeper understanding of student's experiences and perceptions related to child abuse and its impact on academic performance. Conduct interviews, focus groups, or open-ended survey questions to explore students' reflections, challenges, and insights regarding the influence of child abuse on their educational experiences.

Analyze and interpret data.: Analyze the quantitative and qualitative data collected to evaluate the relationship between child abuse experience and academic performance. Look for patterns, trends, or connections that emerge from the data. Consider how different types of child abuse might impact academic performance and identify potential mediating or moderating factors.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
