Dear MEL Institute, we are trying to design an evaluation program on elderly services of different community centers. I’m a little confused about the differences between the services of Neighborhood Elderly Centers and Social Centers for the Elderly. Could you please help me with this problem?

The Neighborhood Elderly Centers provide expanded functions including health education, volunteer development, carers support services, reaching out and networking of singleton and vulnerable older adults and meal services, etc. On the other hand, the Social Centers mainly organize social and recreational activities for older adults.
