We might, as mental health social workers, be working with people suffering from schizophrenia (PSFS) and their families. Using the theoretical knowledge about support groups, we might focus specifically on the adequacy of the support networks available to the relatives. If they were poor, the social worker might act to improve the networks.
The deductive process is as follows:
• Theory: where relatives of PSFS have good support networks, the PSFS are less likely to relapse.
• Practice situation: the relatives of PSFS have poor support networks.
• Theory indication: these PSFS are more likely to relapse than their counterparts whose relatives have good support networks.
• Objective: to minimize the likelihood of relapse in PSFS.
• Conclusion: we should seek to improve the quality of the relatives’ support networks.

The issue of youth unemployment is currently a pressing matter, particularly in times of economic hardship. Recent news reports have highlighted that approximately 400 recent graduates have found employment in the Great Bay Area. Could this be considered a sampling strategy if data were to be gathered from all of them?

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
