Not exactly. Elders or their carers can contact the institutions listed above to seek help from social workers and get referrals. Or they may directly approach the service operator of private residential care homes under the EBPS for assistance.

So, the carers or older adults cannot apply for RCHE service directly, am I right?

Application and advanced booking are made through referrals by social workers of Integrated Family Service Centers, Medical Social Services Units, District Elderly Community Centers, Neighborhood Elderly Centers, Social Centers for the Elderly, Daycare Centers/Units for the Elderly, Enhanced Home and Community Care Services Teams, Integrated Home Care Services Teams, and Home Help Team.
