Following the motion at the IFSW General Meeting 2014 calling for an IFSW policy on “The Role of Social Work in Social Protection Floor”, social workers should work with people engaged with the social protection system. Social workers should make social protection transformative, leading to positive economic outcomes, to more sustainable, stabilised, resilient and harmonious societies.
