International Day of Persons with Disabilities

When we talk about disability, the first thing that comes to people’s mind is a person sitting in a wheelchair. But often, we may not pay attention to people who have non-apparent or hidden disabilities.?

This year, the @idpwd.org focuses on spreading awareness and understanding of disabilities that are not immediately apparent, such as mental illness, chronic pain and hearing impairments etc.

“Not all disabilities are visible”, we should remove barriers for all people living with disabilities, both visible and invisible.??
