Against the backdrop of growing public concern for mental health, especially among employees, caregivers, and young adults, online mental health platforms have gradually emerged in Hong Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic. Concurrently, online psycho-education in the domain of lifestyle medicine has proven to be an effective early intervention for promoting protective factors of mental wellness. Our MEL alumni shared insights on the effectiveness of developing online services into a hybrid mode in the post-pandemic era. Additionally, the integration of gamification serves as a novel element to cultivate interest in mental health psycho-education and the learning experience. Furthermore, they illustrated how to incorporate service innovation and program evaluation as data-driven strategies for the development of online mental health platforms. Finally, the speakers shared their MEL learnings and applications within their respective service settings.
