Physical activity is defined as any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that require energy expenditure, such as running or lifting weights, whereas cardiorespiratory fitness is represented through the maximum rate the respiratory, cardiovascular, and muscular systems can take in, transport, and use oxygen during exercise and reflects the body’s ability to provide energy to the muscles using oxygen.
