About the Jockey Club MEL Institute Project Certificate Training Course

The MEL Project will provide another round of training course will be provided in late-year and will include courses of seven days within two months (please refer to the course information below).

Additionally, participants will be divided into teams for a four-month mentored practicum. Coached by experienced mentors from the fields of social work, business, media, and information technology, participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in program evaluation to apply to their work. After completing the courses each year, a Final Project Pitching Day will be held. Winning teams of the Outstanding Award will be interviewed by a professional shooting team to produce best practice videos for showcasing their impact stories on the Project’s Online Knowledge Hub.

Fridays: 18/10/2024, 25/10/2024, 7/11/2024*, 8/11/2024, 14/11/2024*, 22/11/2024, 29/11/2024

Time: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm 

Location: The Chinese University of Hong Kong (exact location to be confirmed)

*Due to course rescheduling, the 3rd and 5th training will be held on November 7, 2024 (Thursday) and November 14, 2024 (Thursday) respectively.
