In a waiting list control group design, both the experimental group and the control group will receive the treatment, however, the time of the control group receiving the treatment is after the first posttest. A second posttest may be employed in the end. Waiting list control group design avoids ethical issues associated with no-service control. This design also enables the evaluation of long-term effect of the intervention.
