Sure! Questions in the Pubertal Development Scale ask about changes in height, body hair, and skin; for boys, changes in voice and facial hair; and for girls, breast development and menstruation. Responses range from 1 (not yet started) to 4 (development seems complete); menstruation is scored as 1 (not started) or 4 (started). Values are averaged to yield a score reflective of the pubertal phase (Carskadon & Acebo, 1993; see also Cardoos et al., 2017). Internal consistency was adequate in this sample (Cronbach’s α = .72 for boys and α = .70 for girls) .
