Sure. It is a way of evaluating practice, describing areas of change, and identifying the range of possible outcomes, ranging from the most unfavorable to the most factorable outcome. It has several advantages. First, goals are individualized for each unit and can be altered. The client participates in goal-setting and develops a concrete understanding of what possible outcomes might look like and what is required.
