When assessing emotional issues for people with intellectual disabilities, several indicators can be considered to evaluate their emotional well-being and mental health. Here are five key indicators for assessing emotional issues:
1. Behavior changes: Assess any significant changes in behavior exhibited by individuals with intellectual disabilities. Indicators may include increased aggression, withdrawal, self-isolation, or repetitive behaviors that may signal emotional distress or challenges.
2. Communication difficulties: Evaluate the presence of communication difficulties or limitations that may contribute to emotional issues in individuals with intellectual disabilities. Indicators can include limited verbal expression, difficulty expressing emotions, or reliance on alternative forms of communication (e.g., signs, gestures, assistive communication devices) to convey emotions or needs.
3. Mood and affect: Measure the presence of mood disorders or emotional dysregulation in individuals with intellectual disabilities. Indicators may include persistent sadness, irritability, anxiety, or fluctuations in mood that may impact daily functioning and overall well-being.
4. Social interactions: Assess the quality and frequency of social interactions among individuals with intellectual disabilities. Indicators can include difficulties forming and maintaining relationships, limited social engagement, or challenges in understanding and interpreting social cues, which may contribute to feelings of loneliness, frustration, or emotional vulnerability.
5. Self-injurious behaviors: Evaluate the occurrence of self-injurious behaviors in individuals with intellectual disabilities. Indicators can include self-hitting, head-banging, or biting, which may be a manifestation of emotional distress, frustration, or an inability to effectively communicate needs or emotions.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
