•SSRD can demonstrate individual differences
•When it is difficult to obtain adequate sample size and when it is difficult to obtain a homogeneous group, SSRD can be adopted
•SSRD is relatively easy to do
•SSRD can help validate individual practice
•SSRD demonstrates treatment (tx) effectiveness
•SSRD is good for pilot
