You are cordially invited to join the Community of Practice Session (CoP). Mr. Toh Ping Fung, Senior Social Work Supervisor from Caritas Hong Kong, and Ms. Chung Yin Wai, Project Leader with Hong Kong Christian Service, alumni from this Project, will be invited to share their experience on adopting MEL knowledge on program evaluation and monitoring on 17 December 2024 (Tuesday) from 2:30 pm – 3:40 pm via Zoom.

Description:

Alumni will share their MEL Winning project with their MEL journey, highlighting the process from need assessment, program design, implementation, to the evaluation of service effectiveness. Through this sharing, they aim to not only present their project’s success but also offer insights into how innovation can drive meaningful impact through their father focused program: enhancing father involvement for children with special educational needs.

Introduction of the Jockey Club MEL Institute Project:

A 3-year programme, Jockey Club MEL Institute Project, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, aims to further promote organizational-level MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) capacity by providing holistic training to local NGO practitioners. Participants from different social services and professional backgrounds in local NGOs will complete a 6-month programme, which consists of a 7-week training session and a 4-month mentored practicum.
