The total value of the capital assets of the applicant and his/her family members must not exceed the prescribed limit. The assets specifically include land/properties, cash, bank savings, cash value of insurance policies, pre-surrender/surrender value of annuity schemes, investments in stocks and shares, and other readily realizable assets.
