Firstly, you may draft a set of discussion guidelines and conduct a pilot test with the target participants to improve the guideline based on their feedback. Then you could work out a participant list and organize the focus group after sending invitation letters to explain your objectives. Guidelines should be circulated to participants before the meetings to prepare participants for discussion. And you may record the meetings with the consent of the participants.
