I hope to know if there is a better way to measure our programs’ social influence on drug abusers, except using the cost and benefit analysis? As you know, all the costs and benefits are measured in monetary terms, yet there is something that can hardly be measured by monetary terms, such as improvement in family relations when the drug abuser abandons his ill practices.

Thank you for the insightful question. Indeed, the cost and benefit analysis has limitations. Social Return on Investment (SROI) could be a good alternative. It includes social accounting and social auditing to capture financial and non-financial social values of certain programs.

I have watched the cartoon of the logic model and it is really useful for our programme evaluation. May I obtain some further references of the logic model? Thanks!
