It has many benefits when we use data for monitoring and evaluation. It is cheaper and more efficient. Administrative data are collected for all or most clients or participants, and therefore the analysis of such data is more comprehensive. Participants can also be tracked over a much longer time and they don’t have to be contacted to complete surveys or interviews.
