Of course. As children grow and develop over time, their behaviours and how they express themselves also change. To better understand what a child is expressing through his or her behaviour, we must be aware of each child's developmental level and life circumstances. With this knowledge, we are in a better position to know whether or not the child's behaviour is of concern or if it is normal at his or her age and life circumstance.
