Hello. Some of my colleagues suggest that we could use the theory-based model in our program evaluation. But I don’t know this model very much. Could anyone kindly give me a clue about the strengths and weaknesses of this model?

As this model is informed by appropriate theories, the evaluation would be effective if there’s a good match to current research and evidence. But the stakeholders can feel that the standards are imposed on them if the organization is unaware of the most recent research or unable to change to address it.
