When evaluating a program aiming to raise the self-confidence of a group of adult drug abusers, consider the following five points:

Self-report measures: Utilize self-report measures to assess participants' self-confidence levels before and after the program. This can include validated scales or questionnaires that specifically measure self-confidence or related constructs such as self-esteem or self-efficacy. By comparing pre- and post-program responses, you can evaluate changes in self-confidence.

Qualitative interviews or focus groups: Conduct qualitative interviews or focus groups with participants to gather in-depth insights into their experiences and perceptions of self-confidence. These qualitative methods can provide a richer understanding of how the program has impacted their sense of self-confidence and the specific aspects that have contributed to their growth.

Behavioral observations: Observe participants' behavior during program activities or in real-life situations to assess changes in their self-confidence. Look for indicators such as increased assertiveness, willingness to take on challenges, or improved social interactions. Behavioral observations can provide objective evidence of self-confidence changes in action.

Goal attainment: Evaluate participants' ability to set and achieve personal goals as an indicator of increased self-confidence. Measure indicators such as the number of goals set, progress made, and successful goal attainment. This assessment can demonstrate participants' belief in their abilities and their motivation to pursue personal growth.

Self-reflection and self-assessment: Incorporate self-reflection and self-assessment activities into the program to allow participants to evaluate their own progress and self-confidence levels. Encourage participants to journal, complete self-assessment exercises, or engage in self-reflection discussions. This approach empowers participants to track their growth and provides valuable insights into their self-confidence development.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
