Some databases recommend relevant articles regarding your topics and some of them would provide other articles written by the same authors of the papers that you are reading. I think these databases are helpful too.

Yes and I also locate an article that is close to my topic and then look at the terms used to describe it, and use these terms in my search.

You may use guides to terms to locate your articles, e.g. a thesaurus, when available.

I usually search several databases.

I like using free, online literature databases and those available through my academic library.
