Implementing inclusive service evaluation for people with disabilities can face various barriers. Some of the common barriers include:
1. Lack of accessibility: Inaccessible evaluation methods or venues can be a significant barrier. If evaluation materials, surveys, or meetings are not available in accessible formats or if physical spaces are not wheelchair accessible, it can hinder the participation of individuals with disabilities.
2. Communication barriers: Communication barriers, such as limited availability of alternative communication methods or lack of understanding of diverse communication needs, can impede effective participation and meaningful engagement of individuals with disabilities in the evaluation process.
3. Stigma and discrimination: Negative attitudes, stigma, and discrimination towards people with disabilities can create barriers to their active involvement in service evaluation. Prejudices and biases can marginalize their perspectives and limit their opportunities to contribute to the evaluation process.
4. Power imbalances: Power imbalances within the evaluation process can hinder meaningful engagement. Individuals with disabilities may feel disempowered or undervalued, leading to a lack of confidence to express their opinions or challenge existing practices.
5. Limited resources and support: Insufficient resources, including time, funding, and trained personnel, can pose barriers to implementing inclusive service evaluation. Lack of dedicated support, such as accessibility consultants or advocates, can limit the capacity to address the specific needs of individuals with disabilities.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
