The Scale of Physical Well-being for Children?‍♂️?‍♀️

Hi everyone!

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended levels of physical activity for children aged 5 – 17 years old. It is suggested that children and youth should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity daily. While most of the daily physical activity should be aerobic incorporated with vigorous-intensity activities at least 3 times per week. (World Health Organization, 2020)?‍♂️?‍♀️

According to the 2018 Active Healthy Kids Hong Kong Report Card on Physical Activity for Children and Youth, the Overall Physical Activity graded a C- and the Physical Fitness performed worse with a low-grade D. ?

If you are working on a project to improve children’s physical fitness, you may make use of the measuring scale of physical well-being at the individual level to understand more about your service users.?
