World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. We would like to encourage communities, schools, clubs, businesses, and individuals to offer their own WDSD activities and events to raise public awareness about this very special day. With our efforts, we can challenge the perceptions of down syndrome and allow people with down syndrome to be heard, respected and able to pursue their goals as valued members of society.
