As revealed in the Policy Address 2020, the Government will make this service a permanent one from August 2021 upon completion of the existing service contracts and has earmarked $415 million to meet its recurrent expenditure.

Could you perhaps assist me in getting some information about the community service orders (CSO) program verified? According to what I’ve heard, a court may issue a CSO order requiring a person who has reached the age of 14 or older and has been found guilty of a crime carrying a sentence of imprisonment to perform unpaid work for a number of hours up to 240 hours per month while being supervised by a probation officer. Can I refer to those as CSO scheme activities?
