To start with I think it will be important to conduct descriptive studies that provide information on food insecurity issues faced by people living with disabilities. I say this because generally in such studies people with disabilities especially mental disabilities tend to be subject to exclusion criteria. If not excluded their numbers within the given study samples would be too low to warrant sub-sample analysis. It is therefore important first to describe the food insecurity problems faced before looking at "creative ways" of addressing them. The specific "creative" situations need to be informed by how the problems faced manifest for the diverse groups of disabled people.
