The Social Welfare Department (SWD) has launched the Support Programme for Employees with Disabilities (SPED), which provides employers of persons with disabilities with a one-off subsidy for each employee with disabilities to procure assistive devices.

Could you perhaps assist me in getting some information about the community service orders (CSO) program verified? According to what I’ve heard, a court may issue a CSO order requiring a person who has reached the age of 14 or older and has been found guilty of a crime carrying a sentence of imprisonment to perform unpaid work for a number of hours up to 240 hours per month while being supervised by a probation officer. Can I refer to those as CSO scheme activities?
