Hi everyone. We realize that patient surveys often are expensive, and relying on patients’ responses to NGO staff. It often could raise the potential for added bias to our evaluation results. I want to ask if you may have any recommendations for it?

Yes, you are correct. Patients may be less likely to be truthful with service providers. There is an example that may be helpful for you. One medical social worker said they anonymously administer a small written survey to a portion of patients each month to measure their confidence in their ability to self-manage. They switched to the anonymous questionnaire after becoming suspicious of the very high levels of confidence reported by patients in response to in-person queries by social workers.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
