With a generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club MEL Institute Project Final Project Pitching Day at CUHK was a huge success on 29 September 2023!
A total of 30 teams, comprising participants from different NGOs and social enterprises, showcased their application of MEL knowledge and program evaluation skills through five-minute presentations. The event was adjudicated by a distinguished panel including Mr Bryan Wong, Head of Charities (Ageing and Elderly Care) at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Professor Ilan Katz, Professor at the University of New South Wales, Professor Steven Ngai Sek-yum, Principal Investigator of the Jockey Club MEL Institute Project and Professor in Department of Social Work, The CUHK, and Professor Cinzia Canali, Director of the Emanuela Zancan Foundation, Italy, who selected five outstanding award-winning teams. In addition, all online and offline audience members were invited to vote for their favorite projects and express their appreciation for those that resonated with them the most.
The outstanding award-winning teams and my favorite projects-winning teams are listed below:
Congratulations to all the winning teams and we highly appreciate their inspiring presentations!
