Sharing topic: SoSo Youthlife Project
Description:
The SoSo Youthlife Project supports young people transitioning to independent living, many from broken families or discharged from the child care system. Through life skills training, mutual support groups, and mentor-led network building, it equips them with vital skills and a supportive community. By implementing mixed evaluation methods—using a validated self-efficacy scale to assess confidence in independent living and gathering qualitative feedback—the project identified key success factors, refined its service model, and highlighted opportunities for growth. This process expanded its reach and laid the foundation for impactful collaborations with community partners.
