Following the previous question, we have searched the MEL Outcome Indicator Bank and found that some scales have reverse-scored items. Could you please give us some advice on the calculation of the scores of such scale?

You may need to first code the positively and negatively worded questions separately, and then perform reverse-scoring for negatively worded questions and finally add up and take an average of all item scores and produce the final scale score.
