Certainly, it's not a common practice for us to collect this data. Typically, we rely on asking children or teenagers about their age instead. However, based on existing research, aggression tends to rise during adolescence, particularly among maltreated individuals. This increase in aggression may be more substantial when we consider the pubertal phase as an indicator of development, rather than just relying on age. Hence, it is crucial to take into account information about both age and pubertal phase for each youth to examine whether the effects of training varied based on their development.
