Absolutely. Clients are the ultimate beneficiaries of the evaluation results. An effective program evaluation will reflect the results of treatment and (if applicable) client satisfaction with the services received. If program planners, service providers, and other staff apply the recommendations made from the evaluation, the client's quality of care will be directly affected. The results of the evaluation could also encourage drug users and their families to remain in treatment long enough to achieve effectiveness, knowing that they will be provided with adequate care and support to maximize their recovery.
