When evaluating a program focused on the relationship between altruism and meaning in life, consider the following five points:

Define program objectives: Clearly define the objectives of the program evaluation, specifying the desired outcomes related to altruism and meaning in life. Determine the specific aspects of altruism and meaning in life that you aim to measure, such as increased engagement in prosocial behaviors or enhanced sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Select appropriate measurement tools: Choose reliable and validated measurement tools to assess both altruism and meaning in life. Consider utilizing established scales and questionnaires, such as the Altruistic Personality Scale (APS) or the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ), to gather quantitative data. These tools can help assess participants' levels of altruism and their perception of meaning in life before and after the program.

Collect qualitative data.: Incorporate qualitative methods to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between altruism and meaning in life. Conduct interviews, focus groups, or open-ended survey questions to explore participants' personal experiences, motivations, and reflections regarding their altruistic behaviors and the impact on their sense of meaning.

Design program interventions: Develop program interventions or activities that foster and promote altruistic behaviors and explore their potential impact on participants' sense of meaning in life. These interventions could involve volunteer opportunities, community service projects, or acts of kindness.

Analyze and interpret data.: Analyze the quantitative and qualitative data collected to evaluate the program's impact on the relationship between altruism and meaning in life. Use statistical analysis to examine any correlations or associations between altruistic behaviors and measures of meaning in life. Additionally, analyze qualitative data to identify themes and patterns that shed light on the subjective experiences of participants and their perceived connection between altruism and meaning.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
