Click Analyze > Descriptive Statistics > Explore. In this window, the dependent list includes continuous numeric variables you wish to analyze. The factor list includes categorical variables to subset the analysis. The procedure will produce individual summaries of the numeric variable with respect to each category. You may put the target dependent variables in the Dependent List and the 2-category nominal variable (intervention/control group) into the factor list. Then, click OK.
