Quantitative research typically addresses the following general questions:

What is the relationship between variables? Quantitative research seeks to understand the relationships, associations, or correlations between variables, aiming to identify patterns, trends, and connections among measurable factors.

What are the differences between groups or conditions? Quantitative research explores differences between groups or conditions by comparing mean scores, proportions, or other quantitative measures, allowing researchers to examine the effects of variables or interventions.

What is the extent, prevalence, or frequency of a phenomenon? Quantitative research investigates the extent, prevalence, or frequency of a phenomenon by collecting numerical data and calculating statistics to estimate the occurrence or distribution of a particular event or characteristic.

What are the predictors or factors influencing an outcome? Quantitative research identifies predictors or factors that influence an outcome by employing statistical analyses, such as regression or multivariate analyses, to determine the strength and significance of relationships between variables.

What are the generalizable trends or patterns in a population? Quantitative research aims to generalize findings from a sample to a larger population, providing insights into broader trends, patterns, or characteristics that can be inferred beyond the specific sample studied.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
