Different labels can be employed to accompany the description of performance (e.g., Excellent, Very good, Good, Poor; or Highly effective, Minimally effective, Not effective). Alternatively, a numbered rating scale can be used to depict various levels of performance (e.g., 1–5). Please note that six levels of standards should be the maximum as extra precision is not typically gained from having more levels.
