Hi, friend! Following the last question, I wonder is there any empirical evidence to support the effectiveness of Evidence-based mobile health interventions? Then may we say that it is beneficial for promoting people’s mental health?

It also could be good news for you still have the chance to conduct a new evaluation.

I am afraid not, although several systematic reviews have identified positive effects of mental health apps on smoking behavior, self-reported depressive symptoms, and anxiety scores. However, the effectiveness of most available mental health apps is not supported by research. This lack of evidence, combined with uncertainty surrounding safety and privacy, and the lack of insurance coverage or reimbursement for the majority of mental health apps, cause providers to be hesitant about recommending apps. Most providers and patients need guidance in choosing the most appropriate app for their needs.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
