To evaluate a program focused on reducing behavior problems through technology-based parenting, consider the following five key points:

Pre and post-assessment: Conduct pre and post-assessments to measure behavior problems in children before and after the implementation of the technology-based parenting program. Use validated behavior assessment tools or questionnaires to gather data on behavior problems such as aggression, defiance, impulsivity, or hyperactivity. Compare the baseline data with the post-program data to determine if there has been a reduction in behavior problems.

Parent surveys and feedback: Administer surveys to parents participating in the program to gather their feedback on the effectiveness of technology-based parenting strategies. Inquire about their perceptions of the program's impact on their child's behavior, their satisfaction with the program's content and delivery, and the usefulness of the technology tools provided. Analyze the survey data to assess parental satisfaction and identify areas for program improvement.

Program usage and engagement: Monitor and analyze program usage and engagement metrics to evaluate the extent to which parents are actively utilizing technology-based parenting resources. Track metrics such as the frequency of accessing online modules or resources, completion rates of interactive activities or assessments, and engagement with digital support tools or forums. Assess if higher levels of engagement correlate with greater reductions in behavior problems.

Qualitative interviews and focus groups: Conduct qualitative interviews or focus groups with parents who have participated in the program to gather in-depth insights into their experiences. Explore their perceptions of the program's effectiveness, their challenges and successes in implementing the technology-based parenting strategies, and their overall satisfaction with the program. Analyze the qualitative data to identify common themes, barriers, and facilitators of behavior change.

Long-term follow-up: Assess the long-term impact of the technology-based parenting program by conducting follow-up assessments after a significant period. Measure behavior problems in children and gather feedback from parents on the sustainability of behavior improvements over time. Determine if the program's effects remain consistent or if additional support or booster sessions are needed to maintain positive outcomes.
