Young persons (aged ranging from 16 to 34 years) with disabilities may face various barriers to labour market inclusion. Increasing numbers of young people from this age group are entering the disability benefits system, as they meet barriers in the transition from education to employment. Others had a job and face the loss of employment due to health factors, or they had to move to sheltered employment.
