The major goals of community development in Hong Kong can include the following five points:

Enhancing social cohesion: Promoting social integration, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging among diverse communities in Hong Kong. The goal is to foster a harmonious social environment where individuals from different backgrounds can interact, cooperate, and build positive relationships.

Improving quality of life: Enhancing the overall quality of life for residents by addressing social issues, improving basic infrastructure, and providing access to essential services such as healthcare, education, housing, and transportation. The focus is on creating a sustainable and livable environment that meets the needs of the population.

Empowering individuals and communities: Empowering individuals and communities to actively participate in decision-making processes, take ownership of local issues, and contribute to community development. This involves promoting civic engagement, fostering leadership skills, and providing opportunities for capacity building and personal development.

Promoting sustainable development: Encouraging sustainable development practices to ensure a balance between economic growth, environmental protection, and social well-being. The goal is to create a resilient and environmentally friendly community that minimizes resource consumption, reduces pollution, and supports the long-term sustainability of Hong Kong.

Strengthening community networks and support systems: Building strong and supportive networks within communities to enhance social support, mutual assistance, and resilience. The focus is on establishing effective communication channels, promoting collaboration among community organizations, and providing resources and services that address the specific needs of different communities.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
