A diverse group of 55 attendees from Australia, Beijing, and Hong Kong, representing various social service fields and professional backgrounds, came together with great enthusiasm.

The event was graced by three experienced speakers, including Dr. Johnson Chun-Sing CHEUNG, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at The University of Hong Kong, Mr. YAU Chi Yin, Research and Development Officer of the Centre for Research and Development of Hong Kong Christian Service, and Mr. Kin KO, Founder of LikeCoin and DHK dao, and author of “The Sociology of Blockchain: Reimaging Money, Media and Democracy”. Their presence and expertise enriched the session as they shared the opportunities and challenges that MEL practice in the NGO field may encounter in the evolving landscape of service transformation in the Web 3.0 era.

Throughout the event, three speakers shared their insights on leveraging emerging technologies such as NFT (Nonfungible Tokens), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Decentralized Publishing, to enhance the effectiveness and impact of NGO services.
