International Conference: Event Highlight 1

The International Conference on Programme Evaluation and Social Impact Assessment was successfully held with the participation of more than 580 scholars and researchers all over the world.

For the Plenary Session 1, we listened to scholars on various topics including ‘ Homelessness among Young People Transition ‘ by Prof. Aron SHLONSKY, ‘ Community-based Youth Empowerment Programme Adopting Design Thinking ‘ by Prof. Siu-ming TO, ‘ Evaluation of the Justice Advocacy Service (JAS) in New South Wales ‘ by Prof. Ilan KATZ, and ‘ Philanthropy Education Programme ‘ by Prof. Chenxi HUANG, ‘ Barrier Free Stair Climber Service for Tong Lau’s Residents in Hong Kong’ by Prof. Hung WONG, ‘ Cross-cultural Adaptation of Social Work Intervention ‘ by Prof. Fan WU, ‘ The Role of the Local Community in Improving the Wellbeing of People ‘ by Prof. Cinzia CANALI, and ‘ Poor Project Design and Implementation ‘ by Prof. Frank VANCLAY.

This session was followed by an engaging and insightful open forum where the participants had the opportunity to ask the speakers some questions. We spent a fantastic and productive day together!
