Integrationist and oppositional are very important for community development. The integrationist approach attempts to work with the state using the established network and legitimate channels while the oppositional approach mobilizes against the repressive force of the government. The integrationist approach may be considered as more consistent with the neoliberal governance process that emphasizes participation through established procedure and channels.
