We are well aware of the unfortunate fact that pets are abandoned or discarded on a daily basis worldwide. In Hong Kong, there has been a remarkable surge in pet ownership. According to a 2017 report from the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong, the number of pet owners has increased by 72 percent, from 297,100 dogs and cats in 2005-06 to 510,600 in 2015-16. Consequently, our team is eager to initiate a pilot pet adoption project and establish a community that fosters a pet-friendly environment. To gather valuable insights, we intend to distribute questionnaires to residents via mail. Can you provide suggestions on how we can improve the response rate?
